We Use The Best So You Can Go Anywhere, on Your Terms

EV Charger Installation for Every Setup

Homes

Most of our installations are for homeowners who want to charge their electric vehicle overnight and wake up to a full battery. We assess your electrical panel, recommend the right charger for your car and household needs, and install it with minimal disruption. If your switchboard needs an upgrade to handle the load, we take care of that too. If you have solar panels, we can set up your charger to prioritise solar power before drawing from the grid.

  • Dedicated circuit installation
  • Switchboard and panel upgrades
  • Load assessments
  • Smart charger setup and solar integration
  • Indoor and outdoor installations

Businesses

An electric vehicle charging station at your workplace or premises shows your employees and customers that you’re thinking ahead. We install single and multi-charger setups for offices, retail, hospitality, and industrial properties. Every installation includes a full electrical assessment, load management planning, and compliance with Australian Standards.

  • Single and multi-bay charging station installations
  • Load management for multi-charger setups
  • Employee and customer charging solutions
  • Fleet charging infrastructure
  • Compliance and certification

Public and Multi-Tenancy

Body corporates, car parks, councils, and developers are increasingly adding EV charging infrastructure to their properties. We work with property managers and developers to plan and install electric vehicle charging solutions for shared spaces, including metering, access control, and load management across multiple charging points.

  • Body corporate and strata installations
  • Car park and public charging station infrastructure
  • Metering and access control setup
  • Multi-point load management
  • Developer and new-build EV readiness

Our Installation Process

1. Chat and Site Assessment

We start with a conversation about what you need. In most cases, we can assess your setup remotely based on the information you provide (things like photos of your switchboard, your preferred charger location, and a few details about your property). If you’d prefer a face-to-face assessment, one of our electricians can visit your property to go through everything in person. Note that an on-site assessment fee may apply.

2. Transparent Quote

You’ll receive a detailed quote that covers everything: the charger, electrical components, labour, any panel upgrades, and permits.

3. Installation

Our licensed electricians handle the full installation. This includes any switchboard modifications, installation of dedicated circuits, mounting and connecting your charger, and full testing of all electrical connections and safety systems. Most standard installations are completed in a few hours.

4. Permits, Inspection, and Handover

We manage all permit applications and coordinate inspections with local authorities. Once everything is approved, we walk you through your new charger and make sure you’re comfortable using it.

Why Install an Electric Vehicle Charging Station?

Charging your electric vehicle at home or at your workplace is more convenient and cost-effective than relying on public charging stations. You wake up to a full battery, skip the queues, and pay less per kilowatt-hour than most public networks charge. If you have solar power, you can charge your electric car using energy your panels are already generating, bringing your running costs close to zero.

For businesses, an EV charging station on your premises is a practical investment. It adds value for employees, attracts customers who drive electric vehicles, and positions your business as forward-thinking. For multi-tenancy properties, it’s increasingly becoming something residents expect.

EV Charger Installation FAQ

Most standard home installations are completed within 4 to 6 hours. More complex setups (like multi-charger commercial installations or properties that need switchboard upgrades) may take longer. We’ll give you an accurate timeline in your quote.

Yes. Most EV charger installations require electrical permits and inspections to comply with local codes. We handle all permit applications and coordinate inspections so you don’t have to worry about it.

It depends on your property’s electrical capacity and the charger you choose. During our site assessment, we’ll check your panel and let you know if an upgrade is needed. If it is, we include it in your quote.

Level 1 uses a standard 240V household outlet and charges slowly (around 8 to 12km of range per hour). Level 2 uses a dedicated 240V connection and adds 40 to 60km of range per hour. Most home and business installations are Level 2.

Most modern homes and commercial properties can accommodate a Level 2 charger. Older properties may need a panel upgrade. Our load assessment will confirm what’s needed so there are no surprises.

We install chargers that are compatible with all EVs sold in Australia, including Tesla. Every charger we offer uses the Type 2 connector, which is the Australian standard.

Costs vary depending on your property, the charger you choose, distance from your electrical panel, and any required switchboard work. We provide a detailed, upfront quote so you know exactly what you’re paying for. We also offer 0% interest payment plans through Brighte.

Yes. Several of the chargers we install (like the Zappi and Evnex E2 Plus) have solar diversion modes that prioritise charging from your solar system before drawing from the grid.
